Extended Propagation of Broadband Space-Time Wave Packets for 70 m

Abstract

We synthesize a femtosecond wave packet of 20-nm bandwidth and spatial beam width of 0.7-mm that propagates diffraction-free for 70-m by virtue of carefully engineered spatio-temporal spectral correlations introduced into the field.
