Passive synchronization of Er- and Yb-doped mode-locked fiber lasers based on nonlinear amplifying loop mirror

Abstract

The pulse timing between polarization-maintaining Er- and Yb-doped mode-locked fiber lasers was passively stabilized by an all-optical synchronization scheme based on nonlinear amplifying loop mirror, showing a cavity mismatch tolerance up to 16.2 mm.
