Abstract

We used a 0.5-mm randomly-phase-matched ZnSe polycrystal pumped by femtosecond 2.35-µm pulses and achieved a 3.2–9-µm-wide spectrum with 53-mW output power in a dispersion-free OPO cavity consisting of gold-coated mirrors and a pump injector.
