Solid-state Biased Coherent Detection of Ultrabroadband Infrared Pulses Using Single Crystal of Diamond

Abstract

Using a high-voltage applied single crystal of diamond as a medium, we demonstrated the coherent detection of ultrabroadband infrared pulses generated from two-color pumped air plasma in a spectral range of 1−150 THz.
