Directional Asymmetry in Biphoton Correlations

Abstract

We have demonstrated asymmetry in biphoton coherence functions that arises upon reversing the propagation direction of a pump laser coupled into a silicon microdisk. Oscillations in the coherence functions experience an almost total phase shift.
