Thulium-doped mode-locked fiber laser with MXene saturable absorber

Abstract

We demonstrate an all-fiber thulium-doped mode-locked laser by using MXene as the saturable absorber, producing 2.11 ps pulses at 13.45 MHz repetition rate. Our work highlights the potential of MXene-based devices for future photonic technologies.
