Luneburg Lens for Wide-Angle Chip-Scale Optical Beam Steering

Abstract

We present a design for a planar generalized Luneburg lens for use in a chip-scale optical beam steering device. The device has a theoretical in-plane field of view of 160° with no off-axis aberrations.
