MoTe2 Vertical Heterostructure Waveguide Detector

Abstract

A high-speed waveguide-integrated photodetector based on MoTe2 vertical hetero-structure is demonstrated. The proposed photodetector features a measured 3 dB bandwidth of 25 GHz around 1310 nm.
