Femtosecond-laser-written circular waveguides in MgO-doped stoichiometric LiTaO3

Abstract

We fabricated depressed cladding circular waveguides by direct femtosecond laser writing with various pulse energies in MgO-doped stoichiometric LiTaO3. The waveguiding properties were characterized with a CW laser at the wavelength of 1064 nm.
