A Hybrid SiN-QDOT Platform for Visible Photonics

Abstract

We developed a hybrid SiN-QDOT platform by embedding quantum dots in a SiN waveguide. Low loss waveguiding, high modal gain and lasing from mikrodisk and DFB-type devices was demonstrated.
