Long-Range Static and Dynamic Thermal Crosstalk in Silicon-Nitride (SiNx) Photonic Integrated Circuits

Abstract

We experimentally investigate long-range (> 1-mm) static and dynamic thermal crosstalk in a silicon-nitride photonic integrated circuit (PIC) platform and identify a thermal crosstalk floor that depends strongly on modulation frequency and buried oxide thickness.
