Backscatter Absorption Gas Imaging with a Narrow-Linewidth Picosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

Backscatter absorption gas imaging of nitrous oxide at atmospheric pressure is carried out with a narrow-linewidth OPO tunable over 215 nm around 3.82 μm in 130 ms. This setup is promising for multi-species gas-leak detection.
