Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate Kramers-Kronig detection of an independent sideband (ISB) signal by Brillouin amplifying a weak pilot tone at the receiver side. A 30Gbit/s ISB signal with mixed modulation formats is successfully transmitted over 80 km.
