Investigation of Multi-Photon Excitation Schemes for Detecting Atomic Hydrogen in Flames

Abstract

We investigate two-photon and three-photon excitation schemes for ultrashort pulse LIF detection of atomic hydrogen in flames. Three-photon (λ=307.7nm) scheme was demonstrated successfully for the first time and various interferences effects are studied.
