Chiral quantum optics in hot vapor cladded waveguide

Abstract

We demonstrate a strong magneto optic effect in chip scale integrated atomic cladded waveguides. Chiral effects and non-reciprocity of the integrated waveguide-atomic vapor system is observed. Possible applications such as isolators are discussed.
