Integrated Pound-Drever-Hall Laser Stabilization System in a Standard CMOS SOI Process

Abstract

The first integrated Pound-Drever-Hall stabilization system with an on-chip MZI as the frequency reference is demonstrated which suppresses the frequency noise of semiconductor lasers by more than 25 dB while occupying a 2.38 mm2 area.
