Tuning the multimode dynamics of Fabry-Perot quantum cascade laser devices with optical injection

Abstract

With the external injection of an optical seed, we demonstrate how to control the spectrum of multimode Fabry-Perot quantum cascade lasers by reaching a watt-level single-mode emission and tunable harmonic comb regime.
