Abstract

Recently, there has been significant interest in nano-electro-mechanics (NEMS). By co-localizing optical and electric actuation, enhanced functionality can be achieved. We demonstrate NEMS-cavity tuning using electric forces and NEMS-resonance excitation using optical forces.
