Mixed-Cation Organic-Inorganic Halide Perovskite Thin Film Surface-Emitting Laser Enabled by Excitonic Gain

Abstract

Cesium incorporated mixed-cation perovskite thin films are demonstrated as source of excitonic optical gain media, embedded within monolithic vertical cavity exploiting sputtered dielectric HfO2/SiO2 DBRs, realizing robust low threshold green lasing under optical pumping.
