Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a low temperature sensitivity SiN 1 × 2 interleaver for WDM systems based on the configuration of an asymmetric MZI with a ring resonator coupled to one of the arm. The free spectral range (FSR) is 1.65 nm. The 1-dB bandwidth is 0.62 nm. The crosstalk is less than -15 dB from 1522 nm to 1549 nm. In the temperature from 25°C to 70°C, the maximized wavelength shift is 0.125 nm. The temperature sensitivity is within ± 7 pm/°C.
