Experimental Demonstration of Dual-Comb Generation by XPM Between Two Polarization States in a Microresonator

Abstract

We demonstrate dual-comb generation by XPM between TE polarized continuous wave and TM polarized soliton pulse. A TE polarized light with only 0.9 mW power could excite a comb with the assistance of a soliton.
