Long term stable black phosphorus saturable absorber for mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a long-term stable fiber laser mode-locked by a solution deposited and encapsulated black phosphorus (BP) saturable absorber. Our work highlights the potential of BP-based devices for photonic applications when operating under ambient conditions.
