Optomechanical Crystals at Millikelvin Temperatures

Abstract

We will present pulsed optical measurements of silicon optomechanical crystals at millikelvin temperatures. These measurements highlight the exciting new opportunities for application of microwave phononic devices in the quantum realm, but also some of the challenges.
