Abstract
Coherent Kerr soliton frequency combs with 200 THz spectral bandwidth are generated in high-Q silicon nitride microresonators pumped at 1.3µm wavelength. We discuss design and wafer-scale fabrication of such microresonators enabling on-chip self-referencing at low powers.
