Accessing octave-spanning soliton microcomb states in a thermally stable way

Abstract

We report the demonstration of octave-spanning soliton microcomb states in high-Q Si3N4 microresonators. These states are shown to be thermally stable and therefore can be accessed with slow frequency tuning of the pump laser.
