Phase Drift in Depletion-Mode Silicon Photonics Modulators

Abstract

We experimentally examine a modulation-induced phase drift in depletion-mode silicon phase modulator and Mach-Zehnder modulator. The impact on BPSK signal is studied under varying modulator operating conditions.
