Temperature-dependent Evolution and Properties of Laserinduced Periodic Surface Structures on Fused Silica

Abstract

We report the formation of laser-induced periodic surface structures in fused silica by fs-laser irradiation at different substrate temperatures. Using scanning electron microscopy, we reveal the evolution process and properties of these structures.
