Automatic Monitor-Based Tuning of Reconfigurable Silicon Photonic 2nd-Order APF-Based Pole/Zero Filters

Abstract

We demonstrate automatic monitor-based filter tuning with a Si-photonic 2nd-order APF-based filter. The proposed tuning approach calibrates the initial response by controlling each pole and zero individually to reconfigure to different bandwidths and center wavelengths.
