Abstract

Two-element serial-connected photodiode array (SC-PDA) and parallel-connected photodiode array (PC-PDA) were fabricated and tested. The novel PC-PDA shows a higher responsivity (0.32A/W), a smoother frequency response (14.0GHz) and a higher saturation current (66mA) comparing to the SC-PDA (0.24A/W, periodical patterned frequency response and 42mA).
