Selfmix and optomechanics with silicon nitride membrane

Abstract

The selfmixer properties of a laser compound cavity are investigated and experimentally exploited to couple the mechanical fluctuations of a silicon nitride membrane to the laser photons and electronical states, producing an active optomechanical system.
