Abstract

A wideband tunable low-noise microwave generation system utilizing optoelectronic oscillator based on the deamplification of stimulated brillouin scattering is demonstrated. Tunable 12-20GHz microwave signals with phase noise of -120dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset are achieved.
