Broadband Mid-Infrared Dual Comb Spectroscopy with Independent Asynchronous Optical Parametric Oscillators

Abstract

By using free-running femtosecond optical parametric oscillators with a repetition-rate difference > 200 Hz we demonstrate methane absorption spectroscopy at a resolution < 0.2 cm−1 and simultaneously covering the P, Q and R branches.
