Biologically Inspired Optofluidic Lasers via Chlorophylls

Abstract

The first demonstration of chlorophyll lasers with two lasing bands was achieved by using an optofluidic ring-resonator. Our work revealed the mechanism and unique characteristics of chlorophyll lasers which leads to novel biocompatible laser applications.
