Experimental Characterisation of Longitudinal Uniformity in Photonic Crystal Fibre

Abstract

We present a method for characterising small structural variations in photonic crystal fibre. By measuring stimulated four-wave mixing spectra we can reconstruct numerically fluctuations in the waveguide dispersion.
