Kerr comb generation with suppressed cavity-optomechanical oscillation in toroid microcavity

Abstract

Toroid microcavities tend to excite cavity optomechanical vibration, which makes Kerr comb generation complicated. We demonstrated experimentally that transform limited pulses are obtained without optomechanical noise by controlling the pump frequency.
