Multimode Optomechanics and Electrostatic Control in Slot-Mode Optomechanical Crystals

Abstract

We demonstrate a flexible slot-mode architecture for cavity optomechanics that supports mechanical frequencies between 400 MHz and 3.5 GHz, multimode operation coupling multiple optical and mechanical resonances, and an electrostatic actuation scheme for wavelength tuning/stabilization.
