Super-Oscillation by Higher-Order Radially Polarized Laguerre-Gaussian Beams

Abstract

We investigated the super-oscillation by radially polarized Laguerre-Gaussian beams in tight focusing condition. We experimentally demonstrated that this super-oscillation is applicable for confocal laser scanning microscopy to greatly enhance the spatial resolution.
