Abstract

Nonlinear Stokes-Mueller polarimetric (NSMP) microscopy using second-and third-harmonic generation is demonstrated for muscle and β-carotene crystallites. The complete polarimetric data from the sample reveals model-independent ultrastructure within each voxel of the image.
