Controlled Rapid Delivery and On-Chip Trapping of Nanoparticles by a Hybrid Electrothermoplasmonic Nanotweezer

Abstract

By combining intrinsic plasmonic heating and AC electric field, we demonstrate long-range transport, precise delivery and trapping of individual nanoparticles on a plasmonic nanoantenna. Our work will expand the range of applicability of plasmonic nanotweezers.
