Quantitative characterisation of endoscopic imaging fibres

Abstract

We describe a technique for the quantitative characterisation of endoscopic imaging fibres using interferometry. We demonstrate the use of our characterisation technique by comparing three fibres, two of which have identical structure but different scale.
