Frequency Reference Source in the THz Range Using Mach-Zehnder-Modulator-Based Flat Comb Generator

Abstract

We propose a frequency-stabilized multi-frequency terahertz (THz) source system, which is composed of THz sources frequency-locked to a Mach-Zehnder-modulator-based flat comb generator (MZ-FCG). We report on phase-locking of a THz-QCL by using the MZ-FCG.
