Abstract

Efficient (−14 dB) parametric conversion is demonstrated using a novel platform where dispersion-engineered GalnP waveguides are created on a SiO2-Silicon substrate. The coupled 80 mW continuous wave pump power is still not limited by heating, owing to much improved thermal management.
