Nonlinear Photothermal Spectroscopy with Multiple Bifurcations

Abstract

A new regime of photothermal spectroscopy for unique sample characterization is presented. Photothermal studies of a liquid crystal sample show nonlinear signal enhancement, multiple bifurcations and spectral peak narrowing.
