Fiber-type random laser based on a cylindrical waveguide with a disordered cladding layer

Abstract

Ways of realizing random laser are reported based on fiber-type waveguide which is made from capillaries coated with a disordered layer (provides both light scattering and confinement of light) and filled with gain solution.
