Experimental Demonstration and Theoretical Modeling of Raman Probe Induced Spectral Dip for Realizing a Superluminal Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a laser with a dip in the center of the gain profile, which implies superluminal operation. This brings us one step closer to creating superluminally-enhanced metrological devices for a wide variety of applications.
