Abstract

Few layered graphene oxide(GO) embedded one-dimensional photonic crystals(1DPhCs) constituted of SiO2/SnO2 bragg mirrors are fabricated. Amplified spontaneous emission owing to electric-field confinement and energy transfer from SnO2 nanocrystals in the GO incorporated microcavity is presented.
