Long-distance Superluminal Propagation Using a Single-longitudinal-mode Long-cavity Brillouin Fiber Laser

Abstract

We propose and experimentally validate superluminal propagation using a single-longitudinal-mode long-cavity Brillouin fiber laser with a saturable absorber. The transmission distance of Brillouin-induced superluminal propagation is stretched to 100m in optical fibers.
