Abstract

Voltage-controlled terahertz phase modulation using vanadium dioxide reconfigurable meta-surfaces is presented and a proof-of-concept phase modulator operating at sub-THz frequencies is fabricated. We demonstrate the highest reported phase modulation of 60º at 85 GHz through a fully-integrated device platform.
