Visible to Mid-Infrared Frequency Comb Generation Using a Waveguide PPLN

Abstract

We succeeded in generating a coherent optical frequency comb covering more than 3 octaves from visible to mid-infrared with a waveguide-type PPLN. The generated comb is demonstrated to be useful for metrology and spectroscopic applications.
