Abstract

We demonstrate a 100Gb/s short reach system using a multi-carrier transmitter based on a gain switched monolithically integrated laser. 25km SSMF transmission of a 5×20Gb/s WDM-SSB-DD-OFDM channels with a SE of 1.6b/s/Hz is reported.
